In 2017, we decided to build our first home that was inherited from us by our family. Our 100-year-old home was in really bad shape and literally falling apart from termite damage, a complete disaster! Behind every wall was wood-rot, black mold in all the bedrooms, and had two-floors of this kind of damage. The perfect episode for HGTV Home Renovation (wish I thought about it at the time).
Fast-forward seventeen months later: after finding ourselves hundreds of thousands of dollars over budget, dealing with unreliable trade vendors, aching backs and short tempers, we finally finished our True-Hollywood home we called, [popup_anything id=”863″]
Once renovations were completed and we were ready to list it on the market, a friend suggested to look into some new subscription-based 360° Views & 3D immersive technology using sophisticated cameras and AI software. Testing this 3D immersive technology on our home made an enormous difference and assisted our real estate agent to sell the property in record time!
The technology, called Matterport, got us thinking, “Maybe we should offer this as a marketing service”, so we began contacting friends who owned real estate and commercial businesses, and asked if we could visually document their properties. We were able to replace their antiquated static images and long videos with 3D digital-twin models that offered 3D walkthroughs, Floorplan Views, Dollhouse Views and measurement tools within the 3D model.
That’s when we had an eureka-moment: “We should start a company that focuses on visually documenting businesses & projects. Imagine being able to, “See your Business or Project from Every Angle!” All you would need is an internet connection”.
That is how “Immersive 4D Media”, was born into existence. We knew everyone was beginning to adopt and foster 3D immersive technology (in fact, most engineers and architects use 3D software). So, we asked ourselves, “What is comes after the third dimension?” The answer is … time! The fourth dimension. We are saving time and that saves you money! Time from driving to and from project sites, time to communicate to all your staff and vendors, etc.
